Points collection is based on the total retail price of your booking and points are collected at a ratio of 1 point for every £100 for Silver level, 1.25 points for every £100 for Gold level and 1.5 points for every £100 for Platinum level. No part points are applicable. Points are earned once your booking is confirmed and applicable deposit paid. You can collect points on any holiday booked directly with Latin Routes, Travel Routes or Polar Routes. Points are not transferable and have no alternative cash value.
You can spend points on any holiday with Latin Routes, Travel Routes or Polar Routes and are applied at the value of 1 point = £1 for all membership levels, subject to the minimum qualification requirements set out below. Once your booking is confirmed you can apply your points value towards the total payment of the holiday. Any remaining balance after points are applied, must be paid for via one of the companies usual acceptable payment methods. For example, if your holiday is £5,000 and you applied 500 points at a value of £500, the remaining £4,500 would need to be paid via one of the companies usual acceptable payment methods.
Points can only be applied to any holiday with a minimum or flights and 10-nights accommodation/cruise for Silver level, flight and 7-nights accommodation/cruise for Gold level and flights and 5-nights accommodation / cruise for Platinum level. If your holiday does not reach this minimum qualification, then you can’t apply your points to the booking (though usual points collection will apply).
Points earned on a booking can only be applied to a future booking, and the not the same one. For example, if your booking earns 250 points, you cannot spend those points on the same booking, but they will be available for any future booking that meets the minimum qualification requirements set out above.
In the event that a booking is cancelled prior to travel for any reason, the points earned on that booking will no longer apply and be deducted from your overall account total. If you have used those earned points towards another booking and as a result end up in a negative points balance, then you will need to convert any points used, into a payment via one of the companies acceptable usual payment methods, at a ratio of £1 per 1 point for all membership levels.
Membership level is determined by the value of your confirmed bookings from the last 2 years to date (24 months). These bookings do not need to have travelled in order to qualify, and can be for any date in the future. Your points collection ratio is based on the membership level applicable at the time of booking. For example, if you book a holiday at Silver Level membership, but the value of that booking qualifies you for Gold level membership afterwards, then you will earn Silver level points collection on that booking, and Gold level points collection on any future bookings.
Gold and Platinum airport and holiday enhancements will applicable based on your membership level at 30 days prior to travel, subject to the final balance of your holiday having been fully paid. For example, if you were Silver level at time of booking but at 30-days prior to travel you are at Gold level, then your airport and holiday enhancements will be based on Gold level.
As part of departure airport enhancements, airport lounge and fast-track security will be provided for you when not travelling in a class of travel that already offers these services. The provision of these services is subject to availability at your departure airport and no alternative discount or cash value is available if your departure airport does not offer these services on a pre-bookable basis. VIP lounge access refers to the best quality lounge available at your chosen airport, as determined by us.
Return UK return executive transfers are included for a distance of up to 50 km to/from your departure airport (a journey of around 45 mins). Any additional km will be chargeable at the transfers company rate. Transfers include 1 pickup and drop off without stops or wait time en-route. Any additional stops or wait time will be chargeable at the transfer companies rate. In bookings where we are not providing transfers, travel to and from the airport is at your own arrangement. We cannot be responsible for any costs incurred as a result of transfers not booked in accordance with the transfer companies guidelines for timings.
Complimentary room upgrade as part of holiday enhancements applies to one of the accommodations on your itinerary for Gold level and two of the accommodations on your itinerary for Platinum level. Upgrade is applicable to at least a 1 room category upgrade from the room type booked. Room upgrade is subject to the room types available at the hotel and availability. If your itinerary has multiple accommodations, the hotels upgraded will be chosen by us. Upgrade will apply to stay of a minimum of a 1-night, but no more than a 3-nights. Upgrades are subject to availability and in the event that an upgrade is not available on your itinerary, we reserve the right to offer a suitable alternative holiday enhancement of similar value. In the event that your holiday only includes accommodation where you are staying for 4-nights or more, then we reserve the right to apply this holiday enhancement to a different booking or offer a suitable alternative holiday enhancement as determined by us.
Special dinner enhancement is applicable to one dinner during your holiday. Restaurant will be decided by us with your consultation on location, type and which night. We reserve the right to cap the maximum value of this enhancement.
